He Will Come

I've got a mailbox, actually air mail, 35 yards from the farthest point of this water hole. The only other water is a mile and a half away, and those are water troughs for cows. I've seen the cows run the deer away from those. I've seen everything from squirrels, possum, and raccoons to foxes, turkeys, and coyotes. The coyotes had their last drink. This has been a productive spot for eight years, and never seems to go dry. This is my second home.

Water can be just as productive as food sources, especially if it's isolated from other water and contained.

Get him! :D
