New string

Post by hunter 740 »

Got my new sring from excalibur today and noticed the center serving seems to be much smaller in diameter.I read a thread about excal experimenting with serving diameter ,or at least I thought I read that somewhere, makes sense that it would'nt seperate or break as easy.Any thoughts out there on the subject. Also has and anyone tried a new commode seal to wax your string with, its cheap you get enough bees wax to last a life time for about 3.00 bucks and its very easy to rub in, I use it on my compound all the time.

Sounds like Angel Majesty .026 serving. Good stuff. Bee's wax is part of what is in Excal's wax but Bee's wax alone does not lubricate the string material under the serving.
