..right in the face. Man that exomax kicks like a mule. Had my eye too close to the scope and it bruised my head something fierce!! dont be fooled, that rubber peice on the end on the lumizone is mostly for show!! :oops:

Ouch :!: Next time you may wanna move your eye. :) I left my fingers to close to the top of the rail once and the string reminded me what I did wrong. :oops: Thank goodness I have a phoenix, if it was a ecomax or equinox I would have did some damage I'm sure. :D

I shoot a 'Max all the time. Never been "kicked" by it!

Hope you're OK!

Maybe you need to tighten up your grip and watch you cheek position on the buttstock.

This sort of thing is NOT typical.

My cousin used my crossbow, came out one night and we were shooting in the backyard. When we came back in he had a trail of blood from his eye to his chin.
I would like to say we had a good laugh afterwords, but in all honesty I laughed right from the moment it happened. :D
Yes, it is very possible to smack yourself in the eye with a crossbow.
