Heartbroken

Post by saxman »

I never knew deer hunters were such a jelous lot.

The couple of people I have been having trouble with in my lease that are jelous of my 4 kills have gone to the club president (they are friends and neighbors) and told him lies and I have been asked to remove all of my blinds and stands from the club.

I am heartbroken.
This has been so good for me both phycialy and for my spirit and attitude with all these health issues and they have stolen my joy and tainted the whole thing for me.

I have seen this once before.
Now I have nowhere to hunt.
Just wanted to vent to my brothers.

Can you not speak with them and straighten it out???

There are always two sides to every story. They should atleast listen to yours.

Good luck.

what are their reasons? all your deer were legal and the small bucks with messed up antlers needed to be culled out? are they going to give you your money back?

i would ask why i was been kicked out, like the others have said their are two sides of a story. it sounds like the other hunters want the place to thier self with out any one else getting in thier way. they have all ready seen that you can hunt and probally a little jealous of you about it, i ran into that problem last year with the club i was in.

That's ridiculous Scott. Are you saying that the executives didn't ask for an explanation or give you a chance to defend yourself from the lies?

They should not ask anyone to leave or remove there blinds or stands without investigation of allegations towards you.It should be a club by-law..If the president has he must be in on it..and if so its a no win situation..seems they have made up there mind and convinced the president to act without fair and impartial judgment..sorry to hear that friends and nieghbors would do such a thing..

There is only a president and a Vice president
And they are both friends and neighbors of these two guys.

There has been trouble from the start
I am getting a refund and maybe can afford a couple out of state hunts or something.
I no longer want to be in the club with these two.
I dont know most of the other people and they have nothing to do with it.

I really thought I was doing well but they did not share in my joy.
I offered my blinds to them many times.
Oh well
Live and learn.

Sax, that totally SUX!

It was so much fun seeing you whack 'em and stack 'em this season.

Some people just don't have any class at all. It's nasty of me, but I'm hoping their conscience doesn't let them sleep well.

Here's hoping God has a pleasant surprise in store for you. I know it doesn't always work that way, but I hope it does for you!

In the meantime, feel free to vent to us. We're here for you buddy!

Sorry to hear this sax, How long have you known this bunch and How long have you been a member of this so called club? I'm the caretaker of our lease( president ), and the only reason I kick a member out is because of lack of work or late of payment for the membership. Never would I boot someone for having a great year. Clubs can be brutal amongs hunters for I have been in our two clubs for over 20 yrs. Hope it works out for you. :(

This is my first and last year in this lease
I have known the couple (husband and Wife) for several years

He wants her to shoot a deer very bad and she keeps seeing me shoot them. They shared part of their block with me and when I started whacking them they asked me to move out so they could move in,I said why dont you just hunt out of the blind that is already there, you are welcome to it,they said no so I moved out and went to one of my other spots and killed a deer there, well, that did it,she cant stand it so they conspired to get me kicked out.
I bet the put a blind and or stand in both locations that I killed the 4 deer, that is what this is all about.
