Sorry to hear it Sax! Do you have much public land around you can hunt. I haven't been in a club for 20 years now hunting public lands and a few hunts on some friends private land here and there. But the majority of my hunting is WMA's.

Sax, that doesnt sound like much of a club to begin with if they couldnt call a meeting to hear your side of it. Ive seen this stuff before, but thsi was over much bigger deer so I cant see them kicking you out because you shot some doe and a small buck. Seems they are using that as the reason to me. If they are really jealous because you killed a doe or two, then they really have issues. I use to dog hunt with a few clubs here and I ran into the same problems. I'd kill a few nice bucks and people would get mad. So I only hunt with one dog club now and I only hunt with them when they are on the land that I have personal permission to hunt or farm. That way, if anyone complains, well they dont have to hunt that farm anymore

But like you said, screw them.. even if they let you back hunting I wouldnt do it. Its obivious they dont want you around there. Imagine had you taken a gaint buck off that land. They wouldnt be able to sleep LOL

check around and find some other places to hunt... might take a few weeks but its gotta be more than one club there

if you see those people around, be sure to give them the one finger wave

Sorry you've had a kink put in your plans, Sax!

I agree with you. I wouldn't want to be part of this bunch. If the other members let this sort of thing go on, it isn't much of a club anyway.

Sounds like good riddance to me.

I hope and trust that you'll find somewhere else soon enough. There's lots of season left. I'm glad you've already been successful! :D

Don't want any trouble.

Scott, I've been away from the forum for a few days & am just now catching up...

Man, what a bummer!! I'm praying for you, that it goes ok & that God has great things yet in store for your season this year.

You're four deer ahead of me thus far. :(

Keep the faith, my brother. We're with you.

While I hate this for you, maybe it's a blessing in disguise. My dad told me long ago that hunter's were some of the kindest people on earth but they are also the most jealous. I'm sure that's all there is to it because I can't imagine anyone having a problem getting along with you. Like you said on the phone, the reason that you were successful is because you worked for it, you scouted, hunted the right stand at the right time...you did your homework. Now some *=#:** that's been sitting in the same stand for the last 20 years and doesn't have the motivation to do what it takes has become jealous has brought up these false accusations. It's already been said but it bears repeating, sounds like these are the kind of folks that you wouldn't want to be around to start with. Put on a smile, be yourself and go find another hot spot.

PS: Tyler said that something had to slow you down because everyday he came home from school, I'd say "guess who killed another buck."
God Bless !!!!!!!!!
