Sorry Madmax but I see them and hear them. Just didn't buy a tag and don't want to screw up the deer hunting. It doesn't appeal to me like the spring hunt did.

Not in ONT, but here in Ohio the turkeys are plentiful this fall.
The DNR says the cicadas provided plenty of food for them, so they had a very good survival rate this summer. I got a young tom (12#) last Sunday morning, and have been seeing plenty of turkeys lately.

I seen a flock of 13 out in plowed up field on just south of Ottawa, but I didn't get a tag and it was within city limits anyhow.
Take it easy.

I am seeing lots of turkeys, hearing lots of shotguns, but the fall hunt isn't for me..

I would hunt them if I had time, school is stopping any chance of a hunt this year. Maybe 3 days in November for deer but that looks to be all.

I've used my tag the first day and so did two other friends and today we had a miss on a group of 10gobblers 28 yards :?

Having a great time and get to scout all the deer locations while I'm doing it. I have not seen a bow hunter in any area I have been and have not heard of any problems as of yet...
