Welcome Kevin! Congrats on the deer and on the decision to move up to an Excalibur! No matter which model you choose, you will be buying the right one.

From one new guy to another, welcome! Your right about the members willing to help out with whatever questions you have. If you have a question than someone here has the answer! What dvd are you looking for? I just bought a new excal, and it came with a dvd. It has assy instructions, but I beleive it also includes a hunt or two by the maker of Excalibur. I have two. You can have it if you want. Just send your address and I'll be happy to give it to you. Happy hunting!! Neil.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your successful crossbow hunt!
Now get that Excalibur and find out what a crossbow can really do.
Oh - and watch the trigger pull at first, the Excaliburs have a very good trigger pull.

Neil thanks for the offer. The DVD I'm looking for is Crossbow Compulsion. The only crossbow DVD they had at Bass Pro was by Horton Blahh.... Did anyone get to shoot a floor model before you purchased your Excal ? And can anyone hit an apple at 60yds with their set up ??? The Bowtech can put them in the boiler room on the goat target at the 3-D range at 65 yds. I just wondered if benched what they will group at 60yds on targets. Thanks, Kevin

P.S. Where I hunt The apples never come in closer then 60yds. I hate that !!
Every moment in the woods is a gift from above, having the Excalibur with is a blessing...
