The week ahead!!!

The true start to my hunting season begins this week. I have been out 5 times so far and I had a great 8 point at 35 yards Quartering to me Before his smaller friend bust that up. I consider the week before the controled hunt my best time. I always see lots of deer this week and have shot all my deer the week before the smokepoles hit the woods. I have 3 stands that I have not hunted yet. I am looking forward to a good week. I will keep you all updat

The team of Backstraps & Butter are not doing so well either. 0 deer and only 1 and half of us have been hunting, and I haven't seen much of anything except oodles of turkey. Maybe this week will change things around.

good luck, its been real slow here. i haven't saw a deer since Oct. 3rd, haven't saw any fresh sign up on the ridge where i shot both of mine

Good luck! I leave Wednesday after work. Should get to the camp around 2 or 3 in the morning. Should be rough getting up Thursday morning to bow hunt, then again, I probably won't sleep. Will be in the camp for about 10 days, can't wait until Wednesday.

Good luck everyone I'll be able to hunt four days a week all through Nov. since were only getting to work three days a week.Might need the woods time to be able to cut the cost at the grocery store.I dont know about where you guys hunt but the wind has made things tough around here its been swirling for about the last week or so.

If we weren't states apart I'd swear that was my spot.

I haven't seen an antler since I bagged my buck on 7 October. I've jumped a few doe heading to my stand, but haven't seen a deer while sitting since that date either. I've probably logged 16 hours in the stand with nada. Its ODD.
