For those of you who do not recognize him, the guy in the photo is John Wood from Glaslyn and you are looking at what is possibly the New World record archery Mule deer. John's deer beats the current archery record by just over an inch so unfortunately he may not be first after drying time. Nevertheless, pretty cool I thought that you could say you possibly have a world record.

I was trying to think of why I would recognize him.........pretty cryptic there Boo!

So he is John Wood ex major junior league hockey player Moose Jaw Warriors and Calgary Hitmen...or is he still playing or coaching somewhere?

Besides his hockey career..........that is one heck of a mulie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know a guy who shot a borderline B&C buck awhile back that just made the book by less than an inch. his taxidermist told him to freeze the rack for the 60 days before it was measured as it will prevent the rack from shrinking. i don't know if it's B&C legal though.
