One of my favorite pictures and what I use for a rest

Post by saxman »

I was in my Doghouse and had the camera set up to capture my shot.
This was taken seconds before I shot my Doe.
I scoped her for a while and reached over and pressed the shutter (10 second delay)I call it "View To A Kill"

Here is my Nikon shooting rest.
I use the gun rest off of a shooting stick
It and the camera cleat are threaded the same.I cah hold forever and adjust with my right hand via the crank

Nice rest Sax, I noticed that the window is open behind you, I am afraid they will spot me how many windows do you leave open when you use the doghouse.

Great idea! I have one of those walking stick rests and it's sometimes frustrating.

At that set up I have 3 shooting lanes so all the small windows are open. The deer can only see 1 window at a time in the lanes

I need to wear black when I'm in there.
