Just out of range of my Max but in range for my camera~!

Post by Sandman »

Hello all,

Had a great afternoon out. Four does paid me a visit for quite some time this afternoon but the closest they came was 40 - 45 yards (outside of my comfort zone). So I put away the bow and used the Nikon instead.....The quality is a little off as Im having some issues with my camera and my light was fading~!

They look like good sized girls. Threee out of four seem to be looking your way, did they spot you?

They were oblivious to me but once my camera started they could hear it but couldnt figure out where it was coming from. They were starting to head away from me when I took out the camera. One of the does actually started towards me when the camera sounded off and I thought I might get a chance but again she would not come into range~!

Wow, that's a big doe. I'm jealous, after my week on the Island, there's no more deer hunting for me. I'd have to drive 2 hours each way to keep hunting, or stay in a motel. Too much cost.

We have a fair amount of moose, but in our area there's no tags allocated to archers so you're in the same pool as rifle.

Keep at it guys and girls, pics are the closest I'll get until next year.
