I find this works a bit better - more secure, straighter, and you can get the fletching further back on most jigs.
It's an older-style Gold Tip nock, the kind that had the set-screw inside to tighten the nock to prevent rotation. Cut off the sleeve of the nock (the part of the nock that slides inside the arrow) and rethread the 6-32 hole into an 8-32, add a screw.
