Nice buck, congrats. Big body and neck on that one.

Hy Scott, Lukas is 3 years old. Him and I take walks in the woods quite a bit, and when we jump a deer or two, he gets pretty excited about watching them run away (I think it's more my reaction that gets him excited). He already knows daddy deer are called bucks and mommy deer are called does. Daddy deer make scrapes in the leaves, and they are the ones with the antlers. He knows we need to be really quiet to sneak up on them. It's fun teaching them about the outdoors, especially deer hunting. My wife isn't thrilled about me taking him, but she really doesn't have a choice as she knows how much it means to me.

Here are the spec's - 8 point, 16.5" inside spread, Vortex. 18 yards, dropped on the spot (0 recovery - shot a touch high...too busy looking at the antlers!), GTII's with brass inserts and 100 gr Slick Tricks. The Vortex is 3 for 3 this year.
