well sumner it looks to be about 2hrs south of me not sure of the deer hunting there but if theres corn and beans on 1200 acres theres likely to be deer but thats pretty flat country so hard telling. Would be worth a look into for sure. I live in northern illinois along interstate80 lots of crops and timber as well. And along the illinois river but where they are possibly the sangamon river. If ya really wanna see some nice illinois bucks go to illinoisbucks.com i will post mine there as soon as i get back from taxidermist

And to answer huntmans question i really like the boltcutters im usiong 20" firebolts with aluminum inserts . Ive tried slick tricks they work well with a brass insert and 125gr. And i tried the 2 blade rage and they must be too light they didnt fly consistent. Im very happy with the boltcutters . However im thinking of talking to crazyfarmer about some wrapped bolts cause others are hard to find. Im hoping in yellow wrapped.

woulda been nice to have one of my bolts in that deer :lol: congrats on the mature buck... 4.5 year old maybe? He doesnt look really old, but mature enough to shoot for sure

im trying to save my last tag for something like that.. 8) :D
