Nice deer. Too bad about the antlers. At least you got em both.

I am shocked at how early the ivory is coming off this year!!!!

Huntman congrats on a great bow buck. I think you're holding those antlers too high though, I heard that deer had a 32" inside spread (well atleast you can pick what inside spread you wanted). Congrats, I'm very happy for you.

Well the when i put the tag on the deer the antler was still attached it popped off when i was pulling the deer up onto the trailer. That is because the deer was tagged where he laid the way the law states~~!

Not sure if i am going to do the mount for this brute, not because he isnt big enough but because I dont have anywhere to put him. My wife is pretty anal about these things in the house, i have one in my garage and the eight pointer i took two season ago in my study! She still breaks the chops about the one in the office on a weekly basis! DAMN city girls :D lol
But i did speak to a taxidermist and he said that it could be done without a problem. I'm going to wait and see what peter p thinks if it should be done?

Very nice deer, haven't heard of any shedding here yet. I hope not still have a couple tags to fill.

I was speaking to another hunter that hunts the property next to the one I hunt. He said he found the shed of another buck yesterday. im staring to wonder about the health of these deer. It still seems early for antler to fall, i will be out again towards the end of the week I'm curious to see what is around. I also have a cuddeback that needs to be checked maybe there is some more suprise to be found!
