Some bad weather in southern Ohio today

Post by wabi »

I woke up to snow this morning! Schools were closed and roads were bad, but I had a few mink traps out, so I had to make my daily trap check. Didn't catch anything, actually nothing had even been moving in the snow - not even deer!
Made it to the farm I hunt/trap without any problems and checked (and disabled so I wouldn't have to check tomorrow) the traps. Took a few pics on the drive since there wasn't any traffic to contend with.

The snow changed to freezing rain about noon, and now the snow is nice and crusted. I doubt if tomorrow will be a good day to hunt!
I may be forced to do that 4 letter word tomorrow, anyway - WORK

It was a cooooold hunt this afternoon/evening in Southern Ontario. Snowy conditions made the drive home a little slower too. Probably the same system as Ohio.

Had no snow yesterday so we went geocaching. Was a great day for it without any snow on the ground.

Woke up this morning to a good 10cm down here in the county... No good.

Thankfully... tagged out

It's 78 degrees F right now in S.C. The most snow that i've ever seen here in my lifetime was 12 inches back in 76.

My lifted F150 gets me around no problem in thw winter. The Shelby gets me around much faster in the summer.
