Like Bait Pile Willie, I had to put down my 4 yr. old beagle buddy, Tanner, last year. I still miss him, it still hurts, and I think about him every day. Golden Eagle, I am truly sorry for your loss. If you have'nt read "The Rainbow Bridge" do so. It's not a book, just a few lines about our pets. You can probably find it on the web.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Its one of the hardest things to go through.
I have done it 3 times now. 1 beagle and 2 springer spaniels.
I will not have any more dogs. I don't want to go through it again.

Golden Eagle sad to hear about Rosie. Have gone through the same myself. My current lab is 11yrs old and her hips are starting to go. I know the day will arrive when I have to make that decision, not an easy call.

Sorry to hear...

It's never easy to let go, but sometimes its reassuring to know they're going to a better place.
