Any of you guys up north have Schnee's or Kenetrek boots? A review would be appreciated.

Those heat packs are worth their weight in gold.
Usually sell for about $1 each, they can often be had at Princess Auto for $1 for two. Last year Princess auto had a fleece headband that has two pockets and two hand warmers to put in them for less than $1, that was a good deal..

How far north are you going? 1200g thinsulate may be overkill for you.Sopchoppy wrote:Any of you guys up north have Schnee's or Kenetrek boots? A review would be appreciated.
I use my old army issue combat boots early in the season. Then when temps get below 0c (32f) I switch to 500g thinsulate Lacrosse boots. Then, later in the season, like now, I'll switch to Sorel / Kamik boots with the heavy felt liners that are good to -50f or more. The Sorels I have are up to the knees for the deeper snow.
