Put my STS on today. Installation was easy. Will shoot it tomorrow to see how much of a difference in noise there is. It came with 2 short pieces of waxed string. Can someone tell me what these are for. The instructions that came with the STS did not mention these strings. Thanks

They are supposed to be served onto the string where the STS touches.
Some people just like stepping on rakes

Not having anything there does not seem to make a difference.

i know on my compound bow strings they serve it were the sts hits.
