I was doing some work on the computer for my Mom with her hovering around when I opened this... (Thanks a lot, Kev!) Quickly scrolled down to the posts and managed to avoid having Mom ask "what's that about?"

As for tough decision - I don't think there is one!

I've never had this happen but did miss two beauty bucks pushed out of a swamp while I was eating an O Henry bar......like i couldn't have waited....duh...double duh. You can imagine what my hunting buddies said. Anyway the wife never stops joking about O Henry bars. "Äre you sure you don't want to take an O Henry honey" ? as I go out the door for a hunt. Oh boy. Never again-I'll eat when I get home.

Unfortunately every time when nature does strike, waiting and wondering "if " you will ever see the quary; it can and does happen!

Glad to say that I have never been caught on camera; but yes it is more than possible!

Some may agree this one was staged!
Leave the concrete jungle behind and just go hunting !

My younger brother found himself in the exact situation this past season and managed to bag a very nice 8-point. His dilemma was whether to finish pulling up the long johns or go for the shot. I really didn't care to know, but it turned out well. (The hunting part.)

Must have been looking for the source of all that grunting.

My dad shot at a big ten point during the shotgun in that position, missed both shots. Shot that same buck the next day up in his tree though.
