I was sitting 10 yards behind a hunting partner of mine when he shot at a doe at 25 yards, quartering towards....the arrow went right through it and blew out of his stomach...we tracked that deer for over 3 hours...
NEVER EVER EVER will I take a quartering towards shot. For me, broadside or quartering away only....

shot or not to shot
i do agree that a 3 d target is a big help when faced with tough shots .i did a lot of shooting on my 3d and found it realy gave me a lot of confidince when it came time to make a tough shot .i would shoot at the 3d from all angels the results are very impressive and you can see first hand were the arrow will travel if entering at a angel i highly recomend a 3d for every hunter DUTCH
