My friend John and I took this mangey deer killer out this morning.
We had 2 of them bust out of a fence row on our way in to set up. I had to bark to get him to stop and shot him at 80yds. Missed the other one running.
We left this one in the fence row as he had the mange bad.

Nice work! Is the right one a Sako? What is the rifle on the left?
Where did you whack the coyote? (I went to the forestry college in Lindsay for 3 years.)
The coyote was shot at 9.00am.
The gun on the left of the picture is my friends TC pro hunter in 243 cal.The one on the right is my Tikka T3 lite in 22-250 . He dropped in his tracks to a federal BTHP 55 grain factory load.
The shot entered just above shoulder on side facing in picture didn't see an exit hole on other side.
This is the good side of the coyote! the other side had 3 or 4 .....10" bald patches on it.
We ended up seeing 5 dogs in all but these were the only two that presented shots.
If you are not willing to learn, nobody can help you, if you are willing, nobody can stop you.
