First Shed of Season

Post by Kenton »

I found my first shed of the season this morning. 5 point right side scoring 54 4/8. Might be a shooter next year but probably two years away. I hope all the other shed hunters are having some luck.

Did well my first day out and nothing since here in the neighborhood.
Still showing bucks with head gear on the remaining cuddies I have out behind Doc's house.

Found a few up at the farm, but the cuddies there still show most with antlers.

Very strange, seems like some cast super early and then nothing.

Crazy you are on the land already? It will be awhile for us. Do you mean you are getting ready to plant beans or working last years bean ground?

Saw a group of 17 deer today. A few looked like bucks, but only a fork horn still had head gear (both sides). Guess the heavier ones drop first   . Damn gravity!
