what do you mean "tarted up" Boo, are you thinking something different than me? "Tarted up" means somethings "Foo-Foo" to me  The way I read it, you like the bow, and I dont think its to bad either.

Oh, and the pic is working now :D

nice take it is to be a target bow, Think a deer might mistake it for a big shiney apple? Hope to get my wolverine on Sunday.

Mike, it preceded the Exocet. I have one of the first Exocets that look identical to the Wolverine, wood stock and all. It was a hunting bow.

Red Wolverine

Post by greener »

I've had this old Wolverine for about 3 years and wanted to do something different with it. This Excal shot its last deer (6point buck ) last fall in Marmora, Ont. The string of course is a Red/Black Boo dacron. The paint work was done by a friend of mine in Oshawa. I built some GT Lazer 2's with Blazers to match the colour combination and the rope cocker was given new red/yellow cord. With the 350 grain total weight bolts and Boo strng, I get 270fps through the Chronograph. Of course this bow will not be used for hunting now, but will see some time at the club ( www.durhamarchers.ca) and maybe the odd 3-D shoot in southern Ont. My collection now includes a carved tip Black Vixen, Y25 Relayer (#299),Exocet 165, and Big Red.
