You have to relieve the inside ends to fit the rubber butt plate and add a small spacer in the center of the butt socket to allow for the cresent shape and I reversed the hooks so they point up some lawn mower cord and away you go not having a good grip anymore I added a U shaped handle on the back so I have a little more to hang onto works like a charm. I took a huge chance when I bought my Y-25 Excal was little to no help with the cocking problem they seem to think if you can't cock it don't buy it. Wyvern was a big help in my situation as was Dan Miller I have to admitt that first time back I was sweating a little
Actually Parker introduced a but plate that fits the Cyclone, and just by chance firs the Excals. All I had to do was ask for it. Shipped free.
Not sure if my having bought a Cyclone was considered.
Well sir you are gonna laugh but I like to keep it simple I put the crank assy over the butt and measured cut a small block of wood on the band saw duct taped it in the middle of the socket and it's still there worked great if you don't space the crank socket it puts all the pressure on the butt plate tips
