Canada in the rough realism

Post by bait pile willie »

Last wk Taylor Wright missed a mule deer at 30 yds. this wk Thomas Pigeon missed one at 20 yds when he did shoot one he spined it.Give them credit for showing hunting the way it really is.Our american hunting shows would never show these misses.Cudoos to THOMAS.

Showing missed shots

Post by Michael Stogre »

I enjoy the misses too, but it's not true that American shows don't show
misses. Just saw one yesterday on Wild where the archer after stalking
a mule deer shot under it! I have seen others as well. Canada in the
rough does show it like it is more often though. Good for them.

I really enjoy the shows that tell it like it is and as Thomas says at the end of the show that's hunting!!

I met both these gentlemen last year and they seemed very much in person as they do on their show. Real credit to sportsmen. Enjoyed talking with them about hunting.

Gotta second that, Willie. I've seen lots of misses on American hunting videos too, with no bones made about them. :D

I saw the same show and questioned the shot also. When they went to the final shot , they had the back covered and I knew I didn't see anything. Goes to show even the pros have trouble to. :D
