The atom broadhead is a revolutionary type broadhead that does not use conventional blades on it. Instead it has what they call a razor wire type cutting surface. It comes in two different configurations, one a standard razor wire broadhead and two a titanium style wire on it. It has one draw back to it and that is the price. They are over $ 40.00 apiece. Here is the link to the site.

An Atom broadhead is fairly new to the broadhead family, they weigh 100grains & have flexible titanium blades, not razor sharp to touch but very very tough & they fly like field points. The titanium blades flex, compress & expand as they pass through an animals body & internals especially effective when passing through rib cages & leave a good size entry & exit wound. They are a bit expensive & i wish they did a 125grain version, but in all a very good, accurate & pretty much indestructable broadhead.
I only use 2 kinds of broadheads myself, the Nap Nitron 125grain & the Atom 100grain , they both have excellent flight characteristics, have the same point of impact as field points & are very accurate & very tough.

I saw the broadhead a couple years ago at GON's outdoor show. I had a buddy with me and he was awwed by the sales pitch. I on the other hand was definitely sceptical. My buddy bought the heads and used them that season. Not saying it was the heads fault now and not really knowing his shot placement. My buddy shot a doe at 15 yards with the head and we never recovered the deer. I found where his bolt hit a pine tree and I did find some hair in the head and some at the tree but never found one drop of blood or any other sign from the deer. Again it may have been bad shot placement, I don't know but that is the only experience I have personally heard of and experienced with the use of this head. And on another note he was using the Montec G5 this past season

Hey ... I hadn't told anyone about that business venture! :?

How'd you find out I was developing and marketing my own line of broadheads? :?:

Well, the secret is out now, I guess. :(

There goes my fortune.
