Took my camera on vacation with me to the sunny South ..

Well, my girlfriend and I needed a break and headed South for a week. I was a little leery of taking my good camera with me but I decided to in the end ..

The weather was wonderful and I managed to take a memory or two (480) with my Nikon.

Everyday I watched local fisherman applying their trade in and around the tourists:

Im not exactly sure what they were looking for but they would wander up and down the beach;

And then head into the water;

At times a well deserved break ..

I also captured a few of mother natures fisherman at work as well;

A few other local birds and animals ..

A few of my favorites of about nothing in general ..

Not exactly the thrill of sitting in a stand but a great way to practice for the upcoming 2009 season ..

what kind of fish were they capturing with those nets?
and where about did you go down south?

We were in Cuba .. The were catching many types of fish from 4-6 inch smelt looking fish to 14 inch fish that resembled a white fish.
