I've never used a lighted nock, but I think it would be a neat experience to see the arrow flight that clearly. Our brush is so thick here that it might or might not help in finding arrows ... but it couldn't hurt! :D

Galgo,

That sounds about right for the weight. You may lose a few FPS, but that combo should pack a heck of a punch. Your bolt may be a little slower but should be a tack driver and very stable in flight.

"When you refer to brass inserts are we talkin front and rear?"

No front only, adding 110 grns to rear would have disastrous results for FOC.
I make my own too but find the Firenock most reliable. Tracers need a magnet, Luminocks are touchy to install in carbon arrow, depend on tow tiny electrodes for connection.

yes I guess the lumenok itself is the insert for the rear.

Using 150gr bolt cutters do you think I still need brass inserts?

I hope thats my last question but probably not

Have used the lumi nock while Bear hunting . Works great . You have no trouble seeing your shot placement . Makes finding your arrow a snap most of the time .
