:) Even though the date stamp says something different it is last spring :) I never noticed the mistake until a week of pictures later . :shock:

This is one of the Turkeys I got from last spring. What makes this one so memorable to me was that it was the my son's first ever Turkey hunt. And the first hour of the hunt I called this guy away from 5 hens and tagged him.

This was my first turkey, got him last spring as well. I'm waiting for a call from the taxidermist any day now.

Here is one from last Saturday, I called this Tom in for a friends son on the Washington youth season, 19 pounds 8 inch beard and 7/8 spurs.

These birds are Merriams up here where my ranch is.

I hope I did this right.
I have been a turkey killer in the past(hunted them like deer) , but last year started to hunt them by trying to call them in. My first time out I had one coming running in ,then just as fast run out. That hooked me.

This is my bird from this year. He weighed about 20 lb, has an 11 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Set up in the early morning after owl hooting him, and after about 30 minutes he came in, full strut. I bought the shotgun after season last year just for the spring season. After the shot I was shaking like a newbee. It felt great!
