I used to collect old military rifles, mostly pre-1950 bolt actions. Had about 35 at the peak of the collection. Sold them all off years ago. I still collect bayonets. Got about 25 or 30 in the collection. The oldest dates back to the late 1700's and the newest to the late 1950's.
Some of my favourites:

Brown Bess, circa 1770's - Martini-Enfield, 1890's - French Lebel, 1870's

Canadian Ross, WWI - German Mauser, WWI - Russian Tokerev, WWII

German, 1880's - M1 Garand, WWII - Australian Lee-Enfield, WWII
Image

Various Lee-Enfield spikes, WWII
Image

Swedish Mauser, WWII - Canadian FN-FAL late 1950's - Lee-Metford, 1890's

Two Ross "trench knives", converted in the 1920's from Ross bayonets - U.S. machine gunners bolo used for clearing brush when setting up machine gun placements, WWI

Mike, I think you will agree with me here.. but my biggest and most worthwhile collection is bone :D :D

when i was young(lil boy) I loved to collect old money, stamps and comic books. I need to go through the boxes of stuff since I probably have a million in crap I dont know about :D :P Would be nice if these comic books pay for my retirement LOL
