fogduckers dumb question of the month

Post by fogducker »

i,m now the proud owner of two excaliburs :D ..
but i was thinking.. :? then started to wonder..
lets say if i owned a exomax..and i wanted a weaker draw weight on it...can i just change the limbs on it to bring it down to lets say a vixen model of a bow?
are the limbs interchangable from all the different models?
if you dont stand behind our troops.

All limbs are the same. Draw lengths differ.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.

x2 the poundage of the bow is determined by the length of the rail. you could put the limb off of the exomax on the vixen and it would still only be 150 lbs

Good question and accurate replies. Brings a question to my mind, seems like I've heard of 'lite limbs' available that make a 150# Vixen into a 90# bow.

I'm wondering if it's feasable to mount those limbs on the longer draw length bows like the 175's, 200's, even the 225's, and what would they pull?

Anyone know?
