Semi-Albino Canada goose

Post by xbhntr »

While turkey hunting this morning, my buddy asked if I wanted to see a white Canada goose? I followed him to an area where the geese had been resting. The goose that I think is a Semi-Albino Canada goose is the same size as the others. From the neck up to the bill, the markings are identical to a normal Canada goose in color and cheek patch. The rest of the body is white. I have the pictures on my E-mail, need help to post on this forum (step by step instructions ). Ray.

Not a Snow goose , if so, it would have black wing tips.

I saw that goose between Cayuga and York on the east side of the river three years ago while hunting turkeys. Amazing that it's still alive!

It was only a matter of time until affirmative action reached the animal kingdom.

That goose would have a hard time in East NC. Goose prejudice is alive and well here. :(
