found that on another forum.. its an old post there. Its ashame though! The guy musta cleaned the left one some. Its just odd no hide wa sleft at all on that skull with the antlers that golden brown color.
couple dandy bucks that didnt make it.. he supposedly found them both shed hunting

Mike, I dont have any details on them. My guess is they were wounded from hunting season, old age(rough rut), or yotes/wolves.
The one on the left would have been very nice this year! It looks like the one on the right might have reached his peak and was actaully downsizing.

I'm betting on their having been wounded by hunters. Lots of that going on, every year.
