Thanks guys for your help I might of found 20 & 50 grs weights which will screw in the back of a certain 2219 insert. They will also screw in the back of each other to stack them up for more weight. If this works I was thinking of 70 gr. plus a 100 or 125 slick mag. with my 2219. Total weight woulb be 528 with 100 gr & 553 with 125. What do you think?

Thanks guys for all your help. I just found 20 & 50 grs weights which will screw in the back of a certain 2219 insert from a seller on ebay. Total weight woulb be 528 with 100 gr & 553 with 125. I shoot 5 inch vanes slight helical. What do you think? Also which one do you recommend 100 or 125? Any other advice about this would be great.

I used 145 gr heads for years but untill Slick comes out with a heaver head I have to use the 125's.

Look at it this way. You tie a string to a rock and throw it the string follows all your punch power is in the head. Only with a arrow you have stored energy in the shaft for extra power. Use the 125's , your arrow is fast enough that any sound will not matter.

My only experiences w/ slicks are the Slick Trick older offerings. They come in 85 gr, 100 gr, and 125 gr. The 100 gr and 125 gr blades interchange and are available as 'standard' or 'magnum'. Standard is 1" cut, magnum is 1 1/8" cut. IOW, the terms standard and magnum have nada to do w/ weight.

The 25 gr diff in weight is in the ferrules. Not sure about present offerings, but the 85 gr used to be .035" thick vs .030" thickness on the other two.

I learned the hard way you have to spin every time you put one on and off an arrow. Or be lucky, lol.
