Still researching broadheads.

I have the equinox. Any difference between the 2 or info on rage appreciated.

The Rage 3 preformed exceptionaly well for me. I have harvested 5 deer with them. All 3 recovered under 50 yards.
One must inspect the seating of the blades before loading them on deck. If you brush up against anthing while adding or removing them from your quiver, you may accidently unseat one or more blades.

I say, the more blood, the better. Therefore, the broadhead with more actual blade/cutting surface is the better choice . . .everything else being equal.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Both heads are very deadly. I shoot the 3-blade, but I've seen some massive holes created by the 2-blade as well. I've hit four deer with these heads and brought them all home. My only complaint is their durability. Reusing them is just about out of the question in my opinion.
As enormous said, the three blade can be tricky to use. It can be very easy to knock one of the blades out of position when nocking an arrow. This could cause a blade to open early. It is very important to check that all of the blades are seated well once it is loaded.
I'll probably have one nocked on the first arrow I use this season.
