Can FF and D97 String be Used

Can a FF or D97 string be used on all Excaliburs - if not how do you tell which limbs can and can not take them.

No, those two string materials can only be used with mag tipped bow limbs. The first picture in this link shows the difference.

Do not use those two on carved tipped limbs.
Some people just like stepping on rakes

Boo, I guess the Mag tip is the top pic? New to this.

Yes, the top one is called a Mag Tip and the bottom limb has the string grooves carved into the limb tips, hence the name. Again, only use Dacron with the carved tipped limbs.
