Crankaroo Uncocking

Post by Migabby »

Had a problem last night shooting, someone got down range and had to stop shooting for safety reasons. However when it happened my Xbow was already cocked. I didn't want to shoot a arrow into the ground and because of my Diabeties my hands wouldn't be able to hold the Rope cocker. So I tried with The Crankaroo and it worked like a charm, very easy. Is there a problem doing that?

No no problem----I too have diabetes---and I use the rope cocker on my 200 lb. Exocet.Just lean back with your back muscles doing the work.

This is a no no. Do not use crankaroo to decock your crossbow. Deffinitly not recommended by excalibur. If the handle slips out of your hand it could break your knuckles or worse. Use the rope cocker or shoot an old arrow into the ground.

A little over 50 years ago as a middle aged teenager my Dear Father said to me, " If true what they say that we learn by our mistakes, you are going to be a Freakin genius." Says it all !!!!!!!!!
