Those compound bows need to be outlawed . . .just unfair.

it was cool to see and i'm all for playing with different yardages with targets but surely no one could be stupid enough to try that on a deer , it would be in the next county by the time the arrow got there

The dirty little secret is that bowhunters do shoot that way out west....

When I was hunting New Mexico back in the 80's I talked with a good number of local guys (NM) that shot 75-80 yds at elk and deer.... so 100-160 yds with the newer equipment... I don't think that it would be a big deal to them....

Pete Shepley (owner of PSE) nailed a mule deer at 92 yards - recorded on video..

All the "fore fathers of bowhunting" shot long distances at animals..
