I put a field tip in, heat it, attach a vise grip, stand on the vise grip and pull sharply on the bolt. Usually works but it is a pain to remove them.

Shoot them into a Block target, remove arrow. The method seems to work for a lot of forum members. However, they are usually complaining about the event. Go figure.

most of the time you can put arrows into a pot of boiling water and the glue gets soft enough to pull using pliers. sometimes some glue won't turn loose. i have twisted off carbon insert n all.

I use a 2" 8-32 screw clamped in a vise. Heat the end of the screw with a lighter then thread the arrow onto the screw and give it a few seconds for the glue to loosen then pull and twist the arrow loose. I have also encountered a few that would not come loose but most will.

I've used a heat gun, slowly heat the insert or a tip screwed in. But it's iffy.
Too much can ruin the carbon shaft, not enough & some of the carbon unwinds and comes out with the insert, also ruins shaft.

Once you guys pull your inserts out, how do you prepare the inside of the shaft to accept another insert.
