1st welcome home, 2nd congrats on the nice lion. i am abit like Sumner just think of what you missed, staying that blind at nite with that lion chomping right there in front of you. you could have had knees knocking and gone weak! or even peed on yerself and yer neckhair stand on end when he roared! :lol: Glad to hear you has success and nice hunt

Now you know why I dropped the hammer BEFORE it got dark. I did sleep in the blind a few nights at a leopard bait later, another story though!
Even sleeping in camp was an experience. Last year one of the workers there was ripped to shreds by an elephant within a hundred yards of camp. They had a hell of a time finding the guys head, the elephant tossed it a piece they said!
Every night you would hear something different around the camp. Elephants, leopards, hippos, and of course hyenas. Never heard any lions though.

what happened to the meat, i have ate mountain lion meat in P.A. taht came from the american west. and it wasnt to bad.sounds lie an exciting time.
