Moon Transit

Post by Rocketman »

O.K, I'm kinda new to this moon phase stuff . So I should be in my stand 3 hours prior to the moon transit ? This is the major feeding period 4:20 AM to 7:20AM(moon transit) for this morning in my area. So the deer are up feeding at around 4:20 and should bed or be moving to bedding areas by 7:20 , correct? I usually stay in my stand until 9:00 am and then try to be hunting again at 4:00 PM till dark . I'm going to get that Pathfinder watch by Casio and try to hunt accordingly. Great info guys maybe I can figure out my stand times and bust that buck I've been seeing all summer. The first day my secret spot looked like public hunting ground, as there were 5 trucks parked next to mine. Lot's of pressure and a bad wind direction led me to see only one small doe when I was seeing as many as 30 deer come out to feed before the first day. Any info and tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
