Is it just me????

Post by DesertRat »

Man, I haven't even seen a deer yet!!! Saw an F...ING black coyote tonight and it sounded like some dillheads talking in the bush a couple hundred yards away from my property until 6:30 tonight.

Something has changed drastically on my farm and it is making me insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No it's not you. The last couple of weeks, the deer haven't been too eager to make the ultimate sacrifice. However, they can't hide forever. My "spidey-sense tells me that this weekend is going to favour us hunters.

Same here in Ne Pa, Can't find a deer for the 2 weeks I been hunting, I think the 12 day rifle doe season is ruining the herd.

I haven't seen anything this week. Well, I haven't been in the woods either.

Cooler weather is here. We will start seeing things. :D

Maybe it's time to take the .223 out and slam a yoddler. Summbitch looked either all black or black top half. Either way, if e gets within bow range, I am going to let him have it. Tonight he slipped by at 60 yards in the brush but he will mess up one of these days. MUHAHHAHAHHAHAHA

Seeing nothing... but I haven't been able to get out yet either.

Might be able to sneak in a short afternoon hunt after TPM gets back from hunting the a.m. Then my bro from Alberta ("Stinky Buffalo" here on the forum) is coming to visit for a few days tomorrow night so I'll be spending time with him while I can - it's been a couple of years and I've missed him.

been out fair bit and only seen 3 deer total. My good bush there was no sign of deer at all. Have not hunted that bush yet cause no sign of tracks or pics on my trail cams. All changed yesterday and tons of tracks there in one night. So deer just started to move in the bush. Things are looking up.

Not hitting it real hard this season though.
We just got our first cool snap and that always gets me in the mood.
