I'm seeing them every time out as well...just not where I want them to be: 30 yards through a shooting lane.
I have only been able to get out four times since the season started, two evenings and two mornings and three times I have bumped deer on the way in...not good. I usually won't hunt mornings this time of year for that reason. The one afternoon hunt I bumped a few walking in at 2:00 p.m. that were in a bedding area I didn't know was there...and the other afternoon there were a number of them in the field I have to go by on my way out.
I did have a mature buck nearly make a mistake this morning. All he had to do was clear some brush and a tree and I was good to let an arrow fly. Unfortunately, he got to the tree and turned!
Hope some of you folks have some more luck...and soon. They still aren't at the point of doing anything stupid or rushing into things because they have other things on their mind.

That means it's not you.
If you're fooling the yotes, you're fooling the deer too (in terms of stealth) if there were any deer.
We've had a fairly steady pattern here at this location over the years.
The toughest time there is to take any deer around here is the first three weeks of October.
If I don't get a deer in the last two weeks of September...I usually have to wait until the last week of October when they seem to magically re-appear.
The best hunting it yet to come.
Same here in Michigan. I just returned from up north last night. I hunted hard for 5 straight days all day long. Got snowed on, and had east winds that messed up two spots I usually hunt but not with that wind direction. Temps were good at mid 20's overnight. Only managed to see three does for my efforts. Not one buck showed, but the best is yet to come. Last week of October and first week of November are usually the best for me as well. Every year I get the itch to get in the woods but those two weeks usually are the ones that actually produce.
I've got 3 tags. No deer to be had. No venison in the freezer. I hear ya buddy!!!
Lots of good sign, just need to meet up with the ones leaving the sign.

You can take the man out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the man.
