I have no problems to date. in my opinion its very nice. i knew they used to have problems but all was sorted out. it is from excalibur so it has to be good and it has that great warranty.

There were issues with the Lumizone crosshairs rotating (I returned on for that reason), it was handled swiftly by Excal. I believe they have rectified the problems.

I have both, no issues with either.

This is my 4th year with the Lumizone. Replaced battery last year. Works just like it's supposed to.

I talked to 4 excal dealers before buying my phoenix this fall. All four strongly recommended against buying a lumizone because of problems with it and the high return rate.

 I think maybe the excal dealers should be more educated with there product . If thesee problems have been rectefied then why are xacl dealers swading hunters away from the lumni-zone?? These dealers should be delt with emeditaly?? As this does nothing for the reputation of excalibur!! By the sounds of it the dealers arent telling customers that there was a problem and has since been rectified. Its puzzeling that members on here are fully aware but not excal representives?? HMMMMMMMMM!!! MAybe a BIG print news letter need sent or re-sent to excal dealers?

If you own any Excalibur Crossbow...And a varizone or lumizone you will be Very happy with the results! ps. if you ever need to shoot at sunrise or close to sunset a lumi-zone comes in handy!

I hunt with the vari zone at night and its fine, excellent light gathering. Obviously i use the coloured scope caps as well. The only problem is if you aim at something black or fairly dark then you cannot see the cross hairs. Light coloured objects are fine. I couldn't justify the extra for the lumi zone considering the amount of night hunting i do, I'm glad i went vari zone :D

I just ordered a Lumizone a few days ago. With Excaliburs reputation for backing up their products, I'm not worried at all about a possible return. Gary
