This ever happened to anyone???

Post by Bob64 »

I was sitting in my tree stand last week and about an hour after sunrise I tickles my rattlin' antlers together. Almost immediatley I heard crashing, snorting and wheezin' like there was no tomorrow. It sounded like a couple of bucks because the noise was coming from right behind ma and the other seemed to be about 100 yards away. I could hear it coming in and was ready to shoot when finally, out walks a doe!!!! Why would a doe respond like that to rattlin'?

Maybe she went into heat early and is looking for some action.

My friend shot a doe that came into rattling 2 years ago. When he went to field dress her it was obvious that she was in heat and looking to be bred.

quite a few years ago my brother had a doe come to his soft buck grunt.she kept bah bahing .before to long he had 4 different bucks come in from different directions.he was shooting a onidea bow,and the limb hit his leg and jumped off the cable.he stopped by my house and said it was the best day he ever had in the woods.he sat up there 2 hours with a broken bow,and a real nice 8 pointer at 12 yards.got to love it.
so if you can find a hot doe looking and calling, the big boys will show up
