In my part of Niagara Monday had lots of hunters, Tuesday just the odd one. Maybe they are back at work. Saturday they will be out in force. Want it over so we can go back out and hunt.

Your lucky. All I hear is BOOM for the past few days.

I have no problem with a gun hunter. I am one of them, although I perfer bow. The fact we only have a week of gun in Nov, then another week @ the end of Nov going into Dec makes all guys who dont bow hunt trigger happy.

Usually I take this week off work for the controlled hunt but circumstances at work didn't allow for it this year. This is probably my favourite week of deer season and typically we hunt it pretty hard. This year I'm only able to go out after work but I am lucky that I can be in my stand less than a 1/2 hour after I get out of work. Hope to get some rifle hunting in up north later next week then back to the crossbow the week after that.

So far off the #1 property.
We have had one big doe and a 6 pont (Lucky) go down.
I seen nothing opening day.
Tuesday there was the 8 point for a split second and then he did the sneak through the raven. Man is thick down there.
Today we had more of the same "zero" and rain here.

We'll see what Thursday and Friday brings.

Drove by Luthers a few years ago during the Early Controlled Season, thought I was looking at a pumpkim patch, but nope that was the hunters in their orange... Main reason I hunt the late season(Muzzleloader.) in WMU 80....
