Something else that works for keeping the cramps away is magnesium. I take them daily and they do tend to keep the cramps away.

Sad, but we used to be able to buy quinine over the counter but only by prescription now. I've used this over the years to good effect but it is because I had polio in my youth and it affected my legs a lot. I still take take the stuff when it gets bad but the magnesium works quite well most of the time.

I usually don't get cramps anymore, in fact, I sat all day today without any problems; well, leg problems. I took the climber out for the first time and the third tree i tried to climb was the first one I could actually make it up for a variety of reasons. At 4 pm, a neighbor drives his lawnmower around his woodlot for a while. I was stoked.
