What weight arrow/target tip/broadhead are you shooting? I don't really care about carbon or aluminum shafts, but just wondered what total arrow weight is working best for you.

I have the ever dwindling remains of a doz custom old GT's w/ wraps, 4" vanes, brass inserts and 100 gr Slicks that weigh about 446 gr. I got these for an Emax originally but shoot them from my Y-25 now.

I got my best benched groups w/ 'new' GT's, 2" Blazers,[AZ-EZ rt helical] brass inserts, 100 gr points, 400 gr total. 1-1.5" at 50 yds. I haven't tested them w/ bheads as I plan to gig a bear here one of these years and want the heavier weight arrow for k.e. I only plan on shooting one.

I'm up high enough seems there's always a breeze. I have noticed when there's a crosswind, the Blazers out perform the 4" vanes a bunch.

Im shooting a Vortex with firebolts and 100 gr Wasp b.h. (right stuff package) and they fly the same as my ftips. How well they work has yet to be proven. After checking the trail cam, Im hoping to put this setup to the test on a couple of 8 pointers. I dont know the total weight of the arrows or how well they penatrate but they are fast and accurate.
