Anyone have a recipe for making dear lure from the scent glands of a recently harvested buck or doe.

I put tarsal glans from a fill and simmered them in water and bottled it.
Don't know if it worked.

I'd just thumb tack them to a tree,

it is too much fuss and stink on my hands to worry about making a spray,
but you could...

good luck,

You can freeze the tarsal and meta tarsal glands then thaw them when you need them and use them as a drag to your area then hang them (or tack them like fdegurse suggested) to a tree. But then how would you get to spend oodles of money on the latest and greatest scents every year?
